Scholarship Match
Scholarships? Double Down.
The Scholarship Match Program is for any student interested in or currently attending Tidewater Tech who plans on using any external scholarship(s) to help pay for their tuition, fees, or other related expenses. The Match program awards a dollar-for-dollar match to the scholarship(s) amount up to 10% of the grand total cost of the program, including tuition, books, and fees. Multiple scholarships are welcomed.
Students who wish to apply must meet the following criteria:
- Must attend or plan to attend Tidewater Tech
- Must complete and submit the Scholarship Match Application
- Must submit all supporting documentation for each external scholarship awarded along with the application
What Scholarships Are Eligible for Scholarship Match?
Eligible scholarships for the program are based on academic merit or need and paid on a student’s behalf by any organization outside of our company. Private tuition reimbursement, Title IV, and funding such as state grants, WIOA, Military Tuition Assistance, and veteran’s benefits are not eligible for this program.

Eligibility Requirements
- Maintain a GPA equal to or higher than a 2.0.
- Maintain 70% or higher attendance.
- Demonstrate good citizenship and have no violations of the Code of Conduct to which you are found guilty. Serious violations such as Level I or II of the Code of Conduct will result in the loss of the Scholarship Match.
- Maintain good standing and meet all progress standings including Rate of Progress (ROP) and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
- Remain current on school payments to the school or third-party lenders.
- Demonstrate and maintain a positive image and serve as a role model for a future industry professional.
